Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary, structured process for resolving conflicts.
An independent, impartial third party assists the parties involved in reaching a mutual understanding and viable agreements.
The focus is on interests and solutions – not on assigning blame or evaluating the past.
When can mediation help?
Mediation can be beneficial when:
- Conversations escalate or break down
- both parties want to be heard
- further cooperation is important
- an agreement alone is no longer possible
Mediation is no coaching and no development process, but rather a structured process for resolving a specific conflict.
How I work in mediation
- impartial – I will be happy to explain what this means during our initial consultation – and neutral
- structured and transparent
- confidential and solution-oriented
- open-ended – with a focus on viable agreements
I am responsible for the process.
The parties involved are responsible for contents and decisions.
