Mediation

Mediation is a voluntary, structured process for resolving conflicts.

An independent, impartial third party assists the parties involved in reaching a mutual understanding and viable agreements.

The focus is on interests and solutions – not on assigning blame or evaluating the past.

When can mediation help?

Mediation can be beneficial when:

  • Conversations escalate or break down
  • both parties want to be heard
  • further cooperation is important
  • an agreement alone is no longer possible

Mediation is no coaching and no development process, but rather a structured process for resolving a specific conflict.

How I work in mediation

  • impartial – I will be happy to explain what this means during our initial consultation – and neutral
  • structured and transparent
  • confidential and solution-oriented
  • open-ended – with a focus on viable agreements

I am responsible for the process.
The parties involved are responsible for contents and decisions.

Format and frame

  • Preliminary meeting to clarify concerns and framework
  • Mediation sessions with all parties involved
  • Supplementary one-on-one meetings if necessary
(to clarify perspectives, not to take sides)

Format: primarily online, but also on site at your location or that of the parties involved, if possible.

Time and investment

  • Fee 150 € per 90 minutes
  • Preliminary discussion (30 minutes): free of charge
  • Longer appointments by arrangement
